![]() ![]() ![]() The most impactful problem is when the combination of settings you're using is making the renderring engine over budgeting the frame time and resources. However when combining the settings you'll find you're hitting some walls you might not expect performance wise. ![]() This is the same problem when using the video guides showing up the difference with each setting because these are always taken apart of the others. Texture Resolution is set to MEDIUM, which I wouldn't sacrifice either nor Terrain Vector Data. However as simmers I believe we do prioritize some visuals and settings which are more important, like distance and details, to the point we might be fine tuning down other settings which are less important for the simming experience in order to maintain our fps in exchange.įor a practical example, your example is using DLAA which is less sharp and detailed than TAA (a natural effect of how DLAA is working by the way). This is so because it is optimization meant for getting the most fps out of the video card as it is tuned by the video card manufacturer. In my opinion, the main issue with the "optimized" settings is that these are from a render performance point of view, not for a simmer point of view. One simple thing to try (though I'm aware many in the community have an aversion) is to allow Nvidia Geforce experience to apply its "optimized" settings designed for MSFS.
